I am writing this on my laptop, sipping green tea at a wifi cafe in the leafy Colegiales neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I have been for the last 3 months. No, I'm not on vacation. I am working (more, I must say, than 4 hours a week! :), but taking Tim's lead in "The 4-Hour Workweek," I have made my business (book proposal writing and developmental editing) entirely portable. Using the live-lightly-and-portably principles I learned in this book, I am doing the exact same work I did in NYC, working for the same US and Australian clients, yet living in a romantic foreign city, actually putting money away in my savings account for the first time (when did I ever do that in NYC?!) and enjoying myself quite a bit. Thank you Tim! You changed my life!
